Trump Warms to Ukraine after Corruption Scandal
Declares Zelenskyy “Finally speaking my language.”

Washington, DC & London, UK — President Trump praised Vladimir Zelenskyy at the Kennedy Center Honors Sunday, calling him “a real leader now” following revelations of corruption in his administration.
“When a guy eliminates inspector generals, stacks independent boards with loyalists, and moves money into crypto, that’s leadership,” Trump said. “I mean, is he auditioning for NATO or my cabinet?”
“If he also dismembers a journalist, that’s a FastPass to F-35s,” Trump continued. “Maybe a golf course in Odessa. Or a state dinner — if he wears a tie that’s not from Kohl’s.”
“Also, I’m not sure he’s read the latest peace proposal,” Trump said. “That’s good. I don’t read either. Ask my intel briefer.”
A Budding Romance
Trump and Zelenskyy famously clashed in the Oval Office in February, but since corruption allegations emerged, their bromance has been “almost Putin-level” or “approaching Orban status,” said a State Department official who requested anonymity because they haven’t been fired yet.
“We’re monitoring the situation closely to see if Zelenskyy’s serious about being corrupt or just experimenting,” the official added.
